AMS M651 Index Map

The first series here is one produced by the U.S. Army Mapping Service from WWII known as AMS M651. It covers most of (inter-war) Poland and includes East Prussia. The scale is 1:100,000. It is not an original survey but a compilation of information from other sources, described on the right side of the index map. Town names are in Lithuanian, German, or Polish depending on the region. A glossary and guide to Polish pronunciation can be found near the middle of the legend.
